If you love St. Louis beer, you have surely heard of 2nd Shift, and for good reason too! They opened their doors in 2009 in New Haven, MO and moved to The Hill in St. Louis in 2016. At the helm of this brewery is Steve Crider: owner, head brewmaster, and founder and his wife Libby: owner, general manager, and tasting room manager at the brewery.
The brewery comes complete with a tasting room and full menu to order from. It is located at 1601 Sublet Ave.

An IPA that has everything you could want in one, if what you want is a hop sandwich with Simcoe and Columbus hops
Cat Spit Stout | Oatmeal Stout | 7% ABV
An oatmeal milk stout with coffee and toasted notes
Sunny Cat | New England Style Pale Ale | 6% ABV
Brewed with oats, lactose, Amarillo & Citra hops, and dried tangerine peel
Little Big Hop | Session IPA | 4.9%
A low alcohol double IPA or maybe an imperial table beer or an American lager that uses ale yeast and 10 times the hops as normal
Brewlingans | New England Style IPA | 6.5% ABV
This beer pops with citrus and tropical fruits in both the flavor and the aroma. Low bitterness makes this accessible and utterly drinkable
Grapevines | American Wild Ale | 5.4% ABV
A barrel fermented Brett beer, refermented on Norton grapes from Charleville Vineyards
Bridget | American Wild Ale | 5.4% ABV
The aroma of tropical fruit and funk leads right into a spritzy and utterly crushable beer
River Des Peres White Caps | New England Style IPA | 5.5% ABV
New England Style India Pale Ale with Lemon Peels
Technical Ecstasy | Czech Style Pilsner | 5.4% ABV
Brewed with Bohemian Pils malt and Saaz hops Technical Ecstasy pours a stunning hazy straw color with an enormous dense white head
Katy | Farmhouse Ale | 5.4% ABV
Aged for three months in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, a cool yeast that gives this beer a wonderfully pretty aroma and flavor
